Hiya! Welcome to this space I call QT Empire - a umbrella of many different things including beauty, fashion, lifestyle AND my little baby QT Beauty <3. Below was me when I first launched this blog, and a lot has changed then so I thought to add this new section but keeping it short and sweet.

WHO? - Hello Lovelies, I’m Tasnim, the hardworking creator of QTEmpire. I am a Law student in London, who is currently in her final years of studying the LLB degree. I know what you’re already thinking. “Does this mean you’re going to be a lawyer after your degree” “so is this blog a short term thing?” “if you do law, why do you have a blog?” - the answers are no, no & because i’ve always wanted to have my own blog and here we are today!
📍STEALTH - Thorpe Park
WHAT? - What is this? A multi-topical blog (if thats a word; most probably not but it is what it is). Yes, this is my very own blog that I’ve wanted to create for years and finally put into action during this summer! A blog that will consist of make up products, ranging from reviews to dupes to tutorials; Skincare, whether its DIY masks, what to avoid and whats best for the skin; Fashion, different ways to style with confidence and save on bargains while you’re at it; Lifestyle, anything else that doesn’t fit in the other three categories ;) and lastly Food, reviews that would mainly be towards the halal side, seafood or vegetarian as well as posts about top places to visit to have an amazing time without splashing out as much as you’d think you'd have too!

WHY? - (If you got to this part then well done and thank you for reading all of that!) The reason being is because my main concept behind this blog was to make sure there is something there for everyone universally and to inspire them towards my foot steps as well as help everyone in the different sorts of way possible. I've been waiting a very long time after years of researching so many different blogs, accounts, ideas to make this happen. I also put my heart and soul whilst creating this whole website because between you and me, creating a website is not as easy as everyone makes it out to be and I am such a picky person so I wanted layout, font, design to be structured in a certain way for everyone to be comfortable with this blog as much as possible!
I got to a stage where I created my website on a different web hosting (its basically the company website you use to create your actual website) after working so hard and learning how to utilise it well but then had to switch over web hosting because I didn't like the way the mobile format was and this was so vital as I know majority of my visitors would be viewing my blog via a mobile device thus had to start ALLLL over again and took even longer to construct my website and delaying the day to post my blog to the world but its okay, I learnt a lot of things along the way; hopefully maybe I should do a post on this one day to help future bloggsters. :)
Q..T..?-You guys are probably thinking why its QT empire and what does it mean? I have had a foodie account on instagram since 2016 and been enjoying reviewing restaurants on that for three years. When creating the name for that account, it was originally @Foodieqt_ (now @halalfoodieqt, made more sense to actually add "halal" in the name). Now there are three random peculiar reasons how I came up with adding in QT:
1) back then, everyone used to write the word "qt" as opposed to “cutie”
2) a lot of people also used to always say that I was cute which I hated so much (in the least cockiest way possible, it was most likely because of my 4ft11 self was so small compared to everyone).
3) Lastly, in my head I’ve always had the mindset to put myself before everyone in most situations because sometimes its the only way to move forward and to stay content with yourself so I would refer myself as a queen (in my head obviously, seeing I had no one to actually call me that LOL)
Subsequently, all those three ideas basically rounded up that QT should stand for queen Tasnim as well as cutie and bam came out foodieqt, which I thought was quirky and different from other accounts. So when it came to deciding names for my blog, I wrote down so many different ones and was literally getting upset for not finding a unique name that just fits perfectly on how I envisioned this blog to be but then suddenly it hit me, empire. At first I was kinda hesitant to put it forward because empire sounded so snobby in my head for some reason but then I had a day where I imagined everything and felt it was a ring to it, its different and it fits my mindset - no I don’t want to rule the multiple industries out there but i’d like to be out there one day and have my own something if you get what I mean?
Regardless of the future, this blog is something I want everyone to enjoy and actually benefit from, nothing more, nothing less. and I hope everyone learns tips, tricks, hacks or even advice from QT Empire.
