It’s the summer, or atleast due to be as the typical English weather is unpredictable, which means it is the time to wear dresses! Currently the most popular styles are smock dresses, whether it’s maxi, midi or short ones, which can be worn with leggings or jeans - whatever your preference is! Another is milkmaid dresses (think that’s what they’re called) but I’m totally obsessed with the square necklines - i think in general i just looooove square necklines blouses and dresses! Another set of popular dresses are a-lines, ditsy and slip dresses.
I don't normally wear dresses, in fact used to hate wearing dresses Idk why! but now is the time to embrace my girlier sideeee and really get into the summer vibes. This post is going to be with my chosen picks that I’ve found and love as well as possibly planning to buy and my suggestions on things to go with the outfit! Enjoy x

Seen this in store and I was in love! but im still contemplating to buy bc of the sleeves are too short for me as I prefer longer or 3/4 sleeves:( but I love this style so much and then saw the black online and loved it even more! 🥺

These dresses are apparently called milkmaid dresses but they are to literally die for - again I also love the neckline on this and the slight puff on the shoulders. Theres so many styles but these three are my favessss.
Suggestions: feel like any footwear could go well with these, could even add in layering necklaces or gold hoop earrings with the last dress.

Put this in here because I loved this outfit since I saw it in lockdown! The belt, sock boots and dress compliments each other so well!

If you don't like the slits then sew it up like I do! - these are the slip /cami dresses that were mainly popular last year but is something that is still worn - I mean regardless, I still wear this style dresses lmao

F O O T W E A R
These are the types of sandals and trainers I'd wear/do wear, ofc you don't have to choose these styles. Also, I didn't put wedges or heeled sandals on purpose bc atm my feet are hurting more than usual and the idea of them was something I refused to put into this post 🤣 but obviously those are options as well!
My favourite are the simple crossed sandals, especially the first white one, so simple and it'd go with literally anything, even with asian clothes for simple family dinners! and then the perfect white trainers for dresses are my green Stan smith although the original plan for me was to get the navy ones!
