So I purchased the Garnier Moisture Bomb - Moisture Bomb Pomegranate Hydrating Mask (its gonna be called the blue one hereafter, I know how original xxx) and Garnier Moisture Bomb - Moisture Bomb Sakura Hydrating Tissue Mask (which is gonna be referred as the pink one) to try for the first time as well as compare against each other. It was also on sale from £4 to £1.50 so why not plssss.
I remember using the blue one first after a long weeks of wearing make up during the summer and not able to look after my skin as well as letting it breathe. The reason why I chose to try the blue one first is because it stated that it is aimed for dehydrated skin whilst the other mask stated it is for for dry and sensitive skin. Both include a 'single-use' sheet mask, with a protective layer to remove, designed to retain a week worth of treatment retained to give 'one week' worth of treatment.
Break down of the ingredients
They both contain hyaluronic acid which is fabuuuulous because it massively helps with the hydration levels within your skin as well as managing the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles (b.t.w. wrinkles are something that is inventible and cannot get rid of however you can always manage it by slowing down the process such as involving something like hyaluronic acid into your skincare regime.) It's amazing because it fully plumps up your skin which makes your skin looking more youthful and also soothes any redness around the skin- I just highly recommend the use of this so much!
Moreover, the blue one contains pomegranate and oh boyyyy if only y'all knew how incredible this is for your skin! Pomegranate is an antioxidant; so not only it protects you from free radicals and help prevent hyperpigmentation, it also contributes in replenishing your skin cells and again, help slow the process of getting wrinkles!
The pink one contains chamomile which also an amazing antioxidant, especially towards inflammatory skin.
THE VERDICT..
Although both carry similar ingredients which do similar things, I found that the blue one was more effective on my skin as it visibly plumped up my skin. It really drenched my skin, boosting up my hydration levels massively and improving the elasticity of my skin.
Also, both face masks are supposed to contribute to 'a week worth of serum and moisture'. Although I felt like both didn't give me moisture for a whole week straight, I felt as though the blue one left my skin feeling hydrated for at least five days which is better than the pink one, which lasted for like a dayish/ and a half. Would I buy any of them again? yes the blue one. The score for that? 5/5.
Long story short, Buy. the. blue one. It's the best face mask I've ever hadand now I can't stop buying it because it really does what it says: 'to help dehydrated skin.' Additionally, the ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and pomegranates are a best combination so what better to put on your face especially during this day and age. Chamomile is also really good for the skin but not so towards my skin as it needed more TLC than curing.
Moreover, it is always on sale, I never buy it on the actual price lmaoooo you'll actually save a whole £2/2.50 where you can always grab a couple more for the original price. I always end up buying two or three whenever its on sale because it goes out quick as it's very popular amongst skincare addicts.
Hope that review triggers you to buy the mask; what better time to buy this, especially when we have all the time in the world to look after our skin now.
Stay safe guys <3
Forever & Always, T x
